Subject: Superintendent/Construction Manager Position – Custom Homes

Position Overview:
The Superintendent/Construction Manager will be responsible for the daily on-site management of custom home construction projects. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring approximately 10 hours per day, five days a week, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or until the day's work is completed. This role will report to supervisor as the company and team continue to expand and will work closely with trade partners and, importantly, directly with homeowners.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
This role entails direct oversight of all on-site construction activities. A critical aspect of this role is maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized job site, exceeding the typical standards of the industry. The Superintendent/Construction Manager will interact frequently with homeowners, keeping them informed of progress, involving them in key decisions, and ensuring their expectations are not just met but exceeded. Managing relationships with vendors and trade partners, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards is also a key function of this position. Meticulous documentation and reporting of project expenditures are crucial.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate possesses extensive hands-on experience in construction management, with a preference for custom home building experience. While commercial experience is valuable, we are seeking new home build experience and the unique demands of the custom home market, especially regarding client interaction and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and trade partners is essential. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a dedication to exceeding client expectations are all highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with market rates and experience, ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
