We are seeking a reliable skilled laborer to join our team, make ready experience would be beneficial. We build custom homes and are in need of a "utility" player to carry out various tasks. In this position, you will assist the project manager and superintendent throughout the home-build process. The primary duty is to assist our team with offsite and onsite duties related to the successful completion of projects. These duties will include but are not limited to working in various settings such as new construction and occupied residents.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related assignments to basic construction, such as working at construction sites performing tasks such as finish carpentry, completing punch lists, warranty repairs, demolition, clean up, pick up, and delivery of construction materials, making ready for new homeowners. Not just looking for labor but a very skilled person
General Requirements
Follow project instructions from the construction manager or lead.
Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Operate a variety of tools including but not limited to pressure washers, drills, saws, grinders, etc.
Aid contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed.
Cleans the site of all rubble, debris, waste and/or other materials
Job Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Good eye and hand coordination.
Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, and working at elevated levels.
Positive attitude and work ethic
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
English and Spanish fluency a plus
