Auto Body Shop Assistant - Part Time
This would be a great job for a college or high-school student - especially if they're crazy about cars like we were in our younger days.
We're a private facility specializing in vintage Porsche restorations. We restore primarily for our owner's private collection and don't do any insurance or related work. We don't work on Camry's or Accords. We work on early 911's and we love them.
As an assistant in our shop you'll be part of a small team and have the opportunity to learn vintage Porsche restoration from the ground up. You'll also have the opportunity to become part of a worldwide community of Porsche enthusiasts and attend exclusive events with our team.
This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week consisting of 10 hours on Saturdays (8am to 6pm) and another ten hours during the week that can be very flexible.
Job Duties:
Cleaning and organizing the shop (and then cleaning some more)
Washing and detailing cars in the collection
Running errands
Ordering, receiving and maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies
Assisting our technicians in all aspects of our restorations
Other duties as requested
Job Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic
Computer literate
Ability to drive a stick-shift (or be a VERY quick learner)
MUST work Saturdays. And we mean every Saturday. This is non-negotiable.
