We’re looking for a local beekeeper (experienced hobbyist or certified professional) interested in partnering with us to gradually build a thriving apiary on our 15-acre property in North Austin.
The land has recently been cleared and is ideal for hives. Our goal is to grow up to 20 hives over the next 5 years, and we’re looking for someone who truly prioritizes bee health and happiness.
What we’re looking for:
Some experience with hive management and swarm prevention
Apiary certification preferred but we will pay for certification if not
Someone able to provide Honey Extraction (Supplies paid for)
Someone who can visit the site at least 4 times per year to check on the bees and ensure their health.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to expand their operation, mentor bees, or just reconnect with nature.
The Beekeeper will have flexible access to the land and all supplies and tools will be provided.
