Installation Technician – Outdoor Construction (Traveling $18–25/hr)

We are a well-established and growing rainwater harvesting company serving Central Texas, seeking Installation Technicians to join our Traveling Crew. Our work involves designing and building water storage systems for ranches and residential properties, with a focus on rainwater harvesting tanks and conveyance systems.

No prior experience is required — we offer on-the-job training!

What You'll Do:

Build bolted metal water tanks

Install trench conveyance lines and PVC plumbing

Minor electrical work (conduit, wiring, pump setup)

Landscape restoration and light earthwork

Travel throughout Texas (3–5 hours from shop locations)

Work Schedule:

Mon–Thurs, 10-hour days (7 AM – 6 PM)

Fridays off (overtime available as needed)

Meet daily at: Oak Hill shop (78736) or Liberty Hill/Leander shop (78642)

Pay & Benefits:

Starting pay: $18–25/hr based on experience

Experienced construction techs (age 25+, clean driving record): $23–25/hr

Paid drive time + per diem + hotel for overnight travel

Weekly pay via direct deposit

Overtime paid after 40 hours

PTO + 6 paid holidays after 60 days

Health insurance (subsidized) after 60 days

Retirement plan eligibility after 60 days

Growth opportunities: Lead Installers earn $28+/hr

Requirements:

Reliable transportation to/from shop

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Lift 50+ lbs, climb, bend, and use hand tools

English proficiency (bilingual a plus)

Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed

Preferred (Not Required):

Construction, plumbing, trenching, or excavation experience

Skid steer or trencher operation experience

Basic electrical knowledge

Texas Driver’s License with clean record

Dress Code:

Jeans, T-shirt, steel-toe boots (rubber boots optional)

PPE provided as needed

30-minute paid lunch break
