Mobil 1 Car Care Center of Austin is a centrally located automotive business in the Austin/Oak Knoll area. We are looking for a few qualified Automotive Technicians to join our team. We offer very competitive pay with the option of Hourly, Flag Hours or Commission.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair foreign and domestic automotive vehicles as well as light Diesel
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Application of in-depth automotive repair knowledge
Providing service of the highest quality to our customers
Performs skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of previous on-the-job experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ase Certification is a plus but not required
Must have your own tools
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must be reliable and dependable
Self-motivated and must be able to perform the job efficiently with minimal supervision
Bilingual is a plus(Spanish/English)
