Both our family owned shops, Newberry Automotive & Tarrytown Texaco, are looking to hire ASAP in our General Service Departments. Experience in an Automotive shop is HIGHLY preferred, but we will train for the right candidate.
Duties would include: Oil Changes, State Inspection, Battery testing & replacement, Tire repair replacement, customer service, and some cashier work etc. We all do a little bit of everything here.
Hours: we are in need of morning shift (8 or 9am - 4 or 5pm), as well as Closing Shifts (11am-7pm). All hires would be required to work at least every other Saturday. We can also alter shifts to a Tuesday-Saturday schedule if that works better as well. We do NOT limit overtime, as long as we are busy.
You MUST have a valid Driver's License to take the class to become a certified State Inspector; we will pay you for the time to take the test, as well as help train and prepare you for it. Other than that, hard work, and a good attitude are all you need.
