Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to address pain management and promote relaxation.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans using appropriate medical terminology.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance skills through professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
