Senior Associate, People Analytics (Pacific Investment Management Company, LLC (PIMCO) – Austin, TX); Multiple positions available. Create and implement People Analytics strategy that leverages workforce data to generate insights that enable and empower HR and business leaders to facilitate better business outcomes and provide enhanced employee experience. Capture and analyze requirements for Workday Prism analytics as well as the on premise SQL Server Data Warehouse. Maintain and enhance the logical and physical data warehouse models to centralize all data from sources like legacy and current HR systems. Design frameworks to enable storage of benchmarks and reference data from internal and external sources, ingestion and usage of outputs generated from ML and statistical models, and performance and utilization Organization Network Analysis (ONA) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for data collected from surveys. Design ETLs and author ETL rules for populating the data into the DW and Workday Prism. Work with technology teams to implement the data models and ETLs for the DW. Perform data wrangling to enable robust analytics and reporting from various data sources. Work with Data Governance analysts to establish lineage of data elements. Apply role-based and contextual security in Workday Prism by utilizing the Workday security framework.
Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Big Data Analytics, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in data analysis. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: Python, SQL, or Tableau; Excel; and AGILE Methodology. Must also have 2 years of experience in Workday Prism or Workday People Analytics. Experience may be gained concurrently.
