Insulation Sales Consultant

We are a locally owned insulation contractor looking to expand our presence in the Central Texas area. We are looking for driven Sales Consultants that are eager to join a growing business and have an immediate impact on our success.

Job Description:

As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies and new relationships with home builders, general contractors, commercial developers, and homeowners.

Experience:

1. Previous sales experience is not mandatory but preferred. Candidates with previous construction industry sales experience are strongly encouraged to apply. For entry-level candidates, you must be extremely driven and self-motivated. We can provide training, support, and mentorship, ensuring all candidates are set up for success.

2. Experience with and/or willingness to learn technical details of different insulation products including spray foam insulation, fiberglass batts, and cellulose.

3. Must possess excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate benefits and technical specifications of insulation products. Must also communicate regularly during each phase of the project with builders, general contractors, or homeowners.

4. Must be customer obsessed and solution oriented. Successful Sales Consultants will provide recommendations for each project based on unique project specifications, code requirements, and project goals.

5. Must be authentic and have the ability to create long-term, strategic relationships with our partners and customers.

6. Experience with residential and commercial building processes and energy codes is preferred but not required. We can provide training, support, and mentorship, ensuring all candidates are set up for success.

7. The construction industry is dynamic and evolves rapidly. Candidates that can adapt to dynamic environments will succeed.

8. To succeed in sales, you must be self-driven and goal-oriented. The ideal candidates will be motivated by hitting sales monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.

9. Must have strong time management and organizational skills. Successful candidates will be able to balance managing their pipeline of work, being active in the field, submitting proposals in a timely manner, and managing customer relationships.

10. Sales can be a tough profession, but one that is also the most rewarding. Candidates that possess the ability to manage both success and failure with a positive attitude and growth mindset will thrive.

Requirements:

- Must be a minimum of 18 years-old with a valid driver's license

- Pass post-offer drug screening

- Must be able to use a computer and software such as email, Google suite, and CRM
