Description:

The candidate’s role will be to create hotel partner relationships across all levels of hotel leadership. Sales manager will be responsible for assisting our clients to achieve their vision for their on-site meetings, events, galas, weddings, etc. Also responsible for providing our hotel partner with access to our technical team and equipment for their in-house meetings as needed. As a sales leader, your ability to keep organized files, contact customers in a timely and efficient manner according to AVmedia standards, and track and record sales progress while hitting or surpassing budget goals. The sales leader should be friendly, flexible to change at a moment’s notice, very reliable, be cognizant of the importance of service, revenue generation and other factors such as safety for customers and their teammates, and genuinely enjoy serving others. Day-to-day visibility on-site is critical. Audio visual “Technical skills” are a plus, but just as, if not more important, are customer service skills, energy, positive attitude, and drive.

· “Salesforce” or other CRM experience - preferred

· Internal hotel booking system experience - preferred

· Basic Audio Visual “Technical skills” - preferred

· “Live event” hotel experience - preferred

Responsibilities: (General)

· Being a great representative of the AVmedia Family Culture.

· Making sales calls, attending BEO, site and other planning meetings to close business and grow revenues and profitability.

· Upselling to enhance client meetings providing the equipment, labor, and creative services as needed. Visionary who can share with our clients what their meeting can be.

· Speaking with customers, teammates and hoteliers in a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

· Documenting activities on a daily basis based on hotel or event site protocol.

· Seeking out ways to improve the operation to include service and financial results.

· Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being a role model at all times. Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible.
