We need a part time delivery person for our Laundromat who has a good driving record who can drive our company van and make deliveries.
These deliveries are around Austin between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday. You will deliver and pickup laundry from business' and customers houses. Dress is nice shorts, jeans or khaki with nice shirt when making deliveries. When not making deliveries we have some odd jobs that need to be completed at our 2 stores. These jobs are cleaning, washing items, or helping the boss or managers with odd jobs.
This is a great job for a retiree, partially disabled vet or anyone with a little experience dealing with traffic and people. If you are an uber/lift driver at night this is a great daytime job with a paycheck every week. Criminal records do not mean immediate disqualification. NO SMOKING WHILE ON THE JOB - as the smoke gets into the van and the clothes
Currently there are about 25-30 hours available every week driving but we are working to increase that number to more hours.
Applicants must be FRIENDLY, NICE and POLITE with a great attitude.
Applicant Must be very dependable to show up for work.
Applicants must have good driving record -with no accidents (record will need to be provided if chosen)
Applicants must be self motivated and able to work without constant supervision and still accomplish tasks.
Applicants must have "Current" drivers license with a current Texas address.
Applicants must be able to use a smart phone and follow GPS.
Applicants must speak English.
We are offering starting pay for this position at $15.00 per hour with several perks.
