Meals on Wheels Central Texas is expanding our staff and we have immediate openings for part-time drivers to join our team. Our drivers support our daily operations to deliver meals and other needed items to our clients in Austin and the surrounding area in a company-owned vehicle. A commercial driving license is not required. Duties include counting meals, assembling, loading, and some heavy lifting. Knowledge of Austin metropolitan and surrounding areas is a plus but vehicles are equipped with GPS.

32 hours per week, M-F (every day)
Hours between 8:00am and 2:30pm.
Pay rate: $16.50.

Skills/ Requirements
At least 21 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year work experience
Must be dependable and exercise good judgement.
Regular and dependable attendance
Ability to understand directions and work with minimal supervision.
Professional and courteous
Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record
Insurable driver under MOWCTX’s insurance policy required.
Verifiable references
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
