Job Description:
In conjunction with executive staff and other essential employees, the applicant will be responsible for the successful support, testing and repair of field instruments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform standard testing.
Perform basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Perform basic electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to use assembly tools, machines, or processes required to do the job.
Read and interpret work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
Ensure quality standards are met throughout all aspects of work.
Performs other duties as required.
Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication.
Provide daily service updates to team leaders.
Periodic field work and travel.
Work site attendance is an essential duty of this position.
Required Qualification:
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English and speak/understand Japanese.
Must be able to pass a background check.
High school diploma.
Ability to learn on the job.
Basic understanding of math, electronics, and computer skills.
Self-motivation is desired.
Good work ethic.
Ability to be a self-starter and dependability are a must.
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a small-company environment.
Ability to read and interpret written information, electronic schematics, and follow directions.
General knowledge of operating hand tools, power tools, bench tools, DVM, scopes, soldering stations.
