Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3 Axis Vertical CNC Machine Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. You will ensure machines run efficiently, maintain quality standards, and follow safety protocols.

2 shifts available!

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Lathe Machinist)

Weekends- 2 pm-11:30 pm Thur-Mon (Mill Operators)

Pay Rate: $DOE

Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate 3 Axis Vertical CNC machines (Fanuc/Yasnac) according to production specifications.

Load raw materials and select appropriate tools and fixtures.

Perform machine calibration, adjustments, and testing before production.

Programming and Troubleshooting:

Program CNC machines using G-code or related programming languages.

Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and efficiency.

Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors or malfunctions.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality output.

Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Maintain detailed records of production runs and inspection results.

Maintenance and Safety:

Conduct routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication.

Identify and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in CNC programming and understanding of G-code.

Knowledge of plastic materials and machining properties.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality assurance processes.

Basic math skills and understanding of geometric tolerances.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operation is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machine operation, preferably in manufacturing.

Work Environment:

Work in a production facility with exposure to noise, heat, and steel materials.

Standing, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
