ROLE DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Hardware Operators are responsible for reading and interpreting manufacturers drawings (blueprints) to

perform general hardware installation on fabricated parts, including setting up and operating hardware insertion

machines, perform visual and dimensional inspections, and other functions as required or needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the

following:

Install hardware in accordance with manufacturer's drawings (blue prints)

Verify job bill of materials to determine the correct type and amount of hardware to be installed.

Check equipment for proper operation, safety and needed maintenance

Operate hardware insertion machines

Clean and organize the work area, maintain a clean environment throughout the facility.

Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process

improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the

following:

High School Diploma or Grade Equivalency Diploma preferred

Able to perform physical requirements

Great attitude and willingness to learn

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential physical requirements pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the

following:

Strength — (Heavy)- Exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or

up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Movement- climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, twisting, bending

Auditory- talking and hearing

Vision-near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, color vision, field of vision

Environment conditions and physical surroundings-noise, vibration, atmospheric conditions

Microsoft Office

Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) Software-M2M and Shop Floor Manager

Haeger Hardware Machines and Drill Press

REQUIRED WORK CLOTHING AND PPE:

Attire should not interfere with job performance or safety.

Eye protection (safety glasses provided)

Pants or jeans

Long or short sleeve shirt

Closed toe shoes (Safety/Steel Toe)
