The marketing coordinator plays a crucial role in driving the overall marketing efforts for the hospitality group. This position involves strategic planning, flexibility, and a deep understanding of both marketing principles and hospitality. Here's an outline of the key responsibilities and requirements:
Graphic Design: conceptualize and create visuals, develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, websites, and social media content.
Brand Management and Promotion: Develop and maintain the restaurant's brand identity. This includes creating marketing materials like menus, brochures, and ads that reflect the restaurant's character and appeal to the target audience.
Digital Marketing: Manage the restaurant's online presence, including its website, social media accounts, and online listings. Create engaging content, such as posts, blogs, and videos, to attract and retain customers.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, understand the competition, and determine customer preferences. Use this information to inform marketing strategies and menu development.
Event Planning and Promotion: Plan and promote events such as special dinners, seasonal promotions, or community events. Coordinate with staff and suppliers to ensure successful execution.
Advertising and Public Relations: Develop and implement advertising campaigns, both online and offline. Build relationships with local media and community organizations for promotional opportunities.
Sales Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Report findings to management and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaboration with Management and Staff: Work closely with the restaurant management and staff to ensure that marketing strategies align with overall business goals and operational capabilities.
