Critter One is seeking a Wildlife Service Professional in the Austin area. This position will be responsible for providing nuisance wildlife exclusion, trapping, and removal, as well as likely remediation services once the animal has been properly excluded.
Successful candidates will have basic knowledge of basic home construction and framing, as well as the carpentry skills necessary to perform basic home repair projects as required by the exclusion work. We seek applicants who are comfortable working from a ladder, and/or environments requiring proper fall protection equipment. Critter One offers paid training.
Since this work varies by each call, we seek candidates with a proven ability to problem solve independently. This position will work remotely throughout our service area using a company vehicle and fuel card for all work-related travel. This is an ideal position for someone who can work independently at a high level, has an interest in wildlife and the environment, and possesses the ability to achieve and maintain the required customer service.
As a member of this professional and client-focused group, you may be responsible for:
Acting independently to inspect problem areas and working in partnership with our clients to appropriately identify the root cause of pest and nuisance wildlife infestation.
Understanding unique challenges while confidently educating our clients and recommending solutions.
Maintaining an organized, efficient workload and applying a solid work ethic.
Cultivating a strong communication ability, service mindset and desire to help promote environmental health and safety.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
For driving roles, must meet minimum age requirement of 21 years for insurance coverage purposes
Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including 7-year background and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
