We are looking for a dedicated and capable warehouse team member to join our team and help us maintain and improve our 30,000 sq ft warehouse.

THIS IS A HANDS ON POSITION. The best fit will be someone with varied warehouse experience (not someone who has only done receiving or a full time forklift driver). Typically, there are 1-3 people working in our warehouse. We are looking for the right fit to do the work when slow but who is also able to distribute tasks and oversee the work of 1-3 people when necessary. The right person has a leader mindset and a very strong work ethic.

Daily tasks -

Receive multiple shipments of furniture. Unload trucks, schedule deliveries, palletize and rack products

Inbound inspection (responsible for documentation and notification of damages) of all inbound product

Utilize forklift to stock and pull product from the rack system as well as to unload odd sized/shaped product from trucks

Pull and stage all product for scheduled jobs

Paperwork and Data entry for all materials and equipment coming in and going out

Check out and check in tools and equipment per Operations team requests

Manage inventory of equipment and supplies

As scheduled tasks -

Learn, teach, and oversee product handling standards in the warehouse (including internal transportation and palletization)

Maintain and log necessary preventative maintenance for all equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, panel carts, and flat dollies

Ensure all warehouse safety is top of mind for all team members

Evaluate and offer suggestions to optimize warehouse operations

Provide the necessary warehouse support to our Project managers and field teams

Cycle count and inventory confirmation support to admin and billing team

Steam clean cubicle panels and chairs in the warehouse

Drive company vehicles as needed to support field team

Qualifications:

2+ years warehouse experience (preferably in various roles)

1+ years Forklift experience REQUIRED (stand up reach truck experience is preferred)

Receiving experience (to include BOL paperwork, product inspection, truck driver interaction and inventory paperwork)

An internal desire to keep an organized and clean workspace and warehouse (a little extra TLC in the team never hurt a warehouse)

Excellent communication skills are critical to this role's success. We need to know what is going on and when you need help or guidance

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

24' box truck driving experience a plus

Strong organization and prioritizing skills. There is nothing we can't accomplish if we work together and put our minds to it and stay on task.

Vehicle maintenance experience a plus but not required

Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Inventory computer system experience is preferred but not required

Must be able to pass drug screen and background check and be insurable in our vehicles

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.

Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
