I’m looking for someone to build two sturdy wood risers to elevate swivel dining chairs. Each riser should be about 23 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall, with a smooth black finish and slightly beveled or rounded edges. The chairs have a 22-inch swivel base, so the riser should fit just slightly wider. I’d also like a shallow recessed groove on top (about ¼” deep) to help cradle the chair base for added stability. Leave the bottom flat and sanded.
This is not fine furniture — just clean, stable, well-finished platforms for daily use. I can provide reference photos and exact dimensions. Flexible timeline. Please reply with quote/ estimated cost range, and only if you have experience with basic carpentry or furniture modifications, and access to proper tools. Thank you.
