We are a small maintenance company in Austin, Texas! We service Austin and the surrounding areas with general handyman services, buildback requests, and some smaller construction jobs. We value an employee that is on time and organized with a strong eye for detail and a passion for their trade.
We are looking for a reliable maintenance professional who can grow into a lead technician role. You will be responsible for working in a professional and timely manner and communicating with customers regarding work requests.
Role expectations
-Able to complete a variety of handyman tasks including but not limited to;
Drywall, paint, make ready, troubleshoot maintenance issues, appliance installation and minor repairs, minor carpentry, siding, etc.
Bonus if you can complete flooring and tile requests
-Identify and report the need for major repairs within company guidelines
-Ability to correctly use the HouseCall Pro app uploading all required information each day (training provided but must have a smartphone)
-Communicate effectively with customers, team members, as well as management
-Demonstrate the ability to complete work independently and troubleshoot effectively while on job sites
-Basic understanding of eclectic and plumbing
-In time build estimates and lead team to complete projects within budget and on time
Requirements and skills
-5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or comparable references and skill level verification
-Own necessary tools and equipment needed for the position
-Tool set
-Ladder
-Paint brush
-Own a reliable vehicle preferably a truck, van or SUV
-The ability to meet the needs of the company and also communicate effectively
-Well-organized and apt in problem-solving with a close attention to detail
-High school diploma or equivalent
-United States citizenship and appropriate paperwork
