Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter for our trash pick-up team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential and commercial properties. This role involves ensuring that all trash and recycling are collected, sorted, and disposed of properly.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and exterior spaces.
- Ensure trash bins are sanitized and properly stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
- Assist with other custodial duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
