The Lead Trailer Technician performs a variety of preventative maintenance tasks and repairs on company assets, diagnoses issues and oversees the work of lower-level mechanic staff. This position develops schedules, conducts inventory counts, schedules, performs and maintains inspection records and administers the parts inventory.
High school diploma or its equivalent;
Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems preferred;
Experience with various hand tools;
Must have own tools;
Must possess or be able to obtain a DOT inspection license; and
Working knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical and ABS systems.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE);
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Completion of an accredited two-year technical program
Welding or fabrication experience
Valid class C driver’s license; and
Safe driving record for the past three years;
