We are seeking a furniture Delivery and Design Placement Specialist to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and installing furniture at various locations across the greater Austin area with occational opportunities in more distant locations.
This role requires flexibilty, physical strength, effective communication skills, and an excellent driving background.
Duties:
-Load and unload furniute and accessories
-Communicate professionally
-Committment to customer service as the role is often client facing
-Drive person and company vehicles to transport furniture and accessories as needed
-Organize the warehouse and follow procedures for placement of items
-Maintain the cleaniness of all property of the company
-Perform heavy lifting while practicing safety
-Follow estabilished routes for efficient delivery
-Install furniture at client sites according to specifications
-Maintaining a flexible outlook in a fast paced ever- changing non- traditional workplace
Requirements:
-Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
-Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
-Ability to be flexible with hours, often last minute requests are made
