We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forestry Mulching Equipment Operator to join our team. Job Description:

The Forestry Mulching Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating specialized machinery to perform land clearing, forestry mulching, and related tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in forestry or land management, a strong work ethic, and excellent problem-solving skills. When work volume is low, the operator will also assist with lead generation and business development tasks to help secure future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forestry mulchers, skid steers, and other land-clearing equipment.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Evaluate job sites and implement the most efficient mulching methods to meet project requirements.

Communicate with team members to coordinate work schedules and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Identify and solve operational issues quickly and independently in the field.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.

Provide input on equipment needs, repairs, or upgrades when necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forestry mulching OR heavy machinery.

Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems on-site.

Knowledge of forestry mulching practices and environmental management is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently and make real-time decisions under pressure.

Strong commitment to safety and following industry regulations.

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Physical ability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
