Location: Central Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Site Supervisor/Master Builder

Salary: Competitive, with incremental increases based on performance and milestones

Position Summary:

Are you passionate about construction and eager to build a successful career in the industry? Our Construction Apprentice to Project Manager Training Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and advance your career rapidly. This structured program is designed to develop your skills across all aspects of custom home construction and project management.

Program Overview:

Phase 1: Construction Apprentice (Months 1-6)

Learn basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC.

Understand fundamental construction processes and safety protocols.

Receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior tradespeople.

Phase 2: Intermediate Tradesperson (Months 7-18)

Develop advanced skills in multiple trades.

Begin learning supervisory tasks and manage small-scale projects.

Participate in workshops and formal training on construction management principles.

Phase 3: Junior Foreman (Months 19-30)

Transition to supervisory and project management roles.

Gain experience in team leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.

Enroll in a construction management certification program.

Phase 4: Assistant Project Manager (Months 31-36)

Prepare for the role of Project Manager.

Lead significant custom home construction projects.

Complete advanced project management training and a capstone project.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Strong interest in construction and home building.

-Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus.

-Willingness to learn and take direction.

-Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
