Hope Bridge Home RTC: Treatment Director

Apostolic Bridge Builders, Inc., operating as Hope Bridge Home Residential Treatment Center (RTC), is on the brink of becoming a licensed RTC situated in Pflugerville, Texas. We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Director to join our team and lead our clinical program.

We are a beacon of hope for boys and girls aged 6-11, a secure haven where they can heal from abuse, neglect, and emotional and behavioral challenges. Through evidence-based programs, a faith-based environment, unwavering support, and expert care, we empower these young heroes to overcome their past, thrive, and become the extraordinary individuals they were always meant to be. Starting with a small caseload of three kids.

As our Treatment Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the therapeutic environment at Hope Bridge Home RTC. You'll guide the overall treatment program and provide evidence-based interventions to help children heal and thrive.

Qualifications

Education and Licensure:

Option 1:Psychiatrist or Psychologist (Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, with relevant licensure)

Option 2:Master's Degree:

o Master's degree in a human services field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling) from an accredited college or university.

o Licensure:

 Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

 Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

 Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

 Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Experience:

o A minimum of three years of experience providing treatment services to children with emotional disorders.

o One year of experience working in a residential setting with children with emotional disorders.

o Experience working with trafficking victims would be a highly desirable qualification. This demonstrates relevant expertise and understanding of the unique challenges faced by this population.

o Strong leadership and supervisory skills are necessary to oversee the treatment team and ensure quality service delivery effectively.

o Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for building rapport with staff, families, and community partners.

Lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, fostering emotional and behavioral well-being.

Provide assessment services.

Provide individual and group therapy utilizing trauma-informed approaches

Provide family therapy

Supervise contracted therapists, ensuring high-quality service delivery (§748.603).

Collaborate with the Child Care Administrator for seamless integration of care and treatment.

Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adapting interventions as needed (§748.603).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records (§748.603).

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Participate in case conferences and team meetings, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team for coordinated care (§748.603).

Provide training and support to caregivers, empowering them to contribute to positive outcomes.

Demonstrate expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills.

Display a compassionate and patient nature with a commitment to building trust with children.

Embrace a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Show multicultural competence and understanding of diverse backgrounds.

Additional Information:

US work authorization is required.

Ongoing training and commitment to professional development.

Reliable transportation is needed.

Background check required.

A supportive environment with a manageable initial caseload of three kids in the first 6 months, gradually increasing.

We qualify for some graduate student loan forgiveness programs as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Start Date: April 2024 (licensure permitting).

Must be flexible with hours and able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights as needed. Also on call duties as needed.
