Job Title: In-Home Caregiver (Live-In Position)
Location: McDade, TX
Employment Type: Full-time, Live-In (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated in-home caregiver to provide assistance and companionship to an elderly individual (or individual with special needs). This is a live-in position, where the caregiver will reside in the home, with meals and lodging provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
Provide companionship, engage in activities, and ensure emotional well-being
Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to the family or medical professionals
Requirements:
Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role
Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow care plans and provide accurate updates
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Willingness to live in the home and be available for caregiving duties for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
