relationships as we construct our permanent brick and mortar locations. Our driving theme is offering a relaxing yet invigorating environment for individuals to recharge and connect.
Job Summary
We’re seeking a sauna enthusiast with a passion for wellness and a knack for creating memorable experiences to operate our mobile sauna pop-up in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate is a hard-working individual who thrives on engaging with people, cares deeply about health and wellness, and enjoys bringing the benefits of contrast therapy to others.
Key Responsibilities
● Set Up and Operation:
○ Safely set up and operation of the mobile sauna, including lowering/raising the sauna using a hydraulic lift system.
○ Operate the solar-powered lighting system and ensure the battery systems are functioning properly.
○ Coordinate wood delivery
○ Start and maintain fires in our woodburning saunas
○ Set up and maintain auxiliary features like the bucket shower.
● Customer Engagement:
○ Provide an exceptional and welcoming experience for guests, introducing them to the benefits of sauna therapy.
○ Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while answering guest questions and providing guidance on proper sauna use.
● Maintenance and Safety:
○ Conduct regular inspections of the mobile sauna and towing equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
○ Monitor and maintain cleanliness and functionality of the sauna and surrounding area.
● Coordination:
○ Facilitate transactions through our booking and POS system
○ Sell merchandise
○ Assist with promotions and marketing efforts to increase community awareness of the pop-up.
○ Assist in hiring and training and managing the broader team.
Requirements
● Passion for wellness, contrast therapy, and creating community-centered experiences.
● Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
● Ability to operate and troubleshoot technical systems such as hydraulic lifts, solar panels, general plumbing issues and towing equipment.
● Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Physically capable of lifting, setting up, and maintaining the mobile sauna and its features.
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous experience in customer service, event coordination, or wellness-related roles.
● Familiarity with sauna therapy or similar wellness practices.
