We are a small start-up business, currently based in 6 cities internationally including Austin, New York, London and more with plans to expand quickly. Our mission is to provide memorable curated experiences while putting a focus on sustainability, supporting the local businesses and people.
We are currently hiring for 2 of our tours, our Famous Texas BBQ and Food Tour (11am-1pm) and our Downtown Austin Live Music Pub Crawl. (8:30pm - 11:00pm).
Duties
- Lead guided tours of various locations, providing informative and engaging commentary
- Educate visitors about the history, culture, and significance of the sites
- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the tour
- Manage the timing and pace of the tour to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants
- Answer questions and provide assistance to tour participants as needed
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- A passion for learning
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals
- Excellent time management skills to keep tours on schedule
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it allows for effective communication with a wider range of visitors
- Leadership qualities to confidently guide and manage groups of varying sizes
- Ability to educate and inform visitors about the sites being toured
- Strong public speaking skills to deliver engaging and informative commentary
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for communicating with non-native English speakers
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour + TIPS
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
