We’re looking for a Warehouse Lead that will share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families.  Under direct supervision, this position coordinates dock activities and, as time allows, helps dock operation and housekeeping. This position will have input on the receipt and shipment of all materials including supplies as it pertains to the warehouse (location, storage, etc.) and will have regular contact with the internal logistics team and external freight carriers as they enter our facility.Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate and direct the daily activity of all the forklift drivers and dock employees

Coordinate all outbound and inbound loads as needed with manager oversight to ensure all hazardous waste is

Shipped from the facility within it’s 10 day period.

Answer receiving door and coordinate / direct transporter on dock door for unload:

Chock trailers, verify seal numbers on trailers

Complete paperwork (witness sign, wise number attached, etc),

Release transporter when unloading or loading is completed.

Relay issues to logistics team regarding any unscheduled deliveries.

Inform logistics team when loads are ready to ship or when loads arrive.

Assist with other dock operations and housekeeping

Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management

Basic QualificationsEducation

High school diploma or GED

Experience

3-5 years previous warehouse experience.

Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.

Interpersonal Skills

Good communication skills

Able to delegate tasks

Team player

Able to respond to emails promptly and professionally

Technical Skills

Utilize a forklift for moving inventory

Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instructions, visual management, and computer interface

Read tape measure

III. Essential Functions

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Able to work select weekends
