Telecom Technician 4 positions 100% Travel Base Location is Austin TX 12+ months- may be longer Cisco CUCM experience is required! Must have Cisco experience related to VOIP. Works on relatively straightforward installation and/or maintenance assignments on Telephony Services for TDM and VOIP products. Technician for customer/company Voice systems installation and/or maintenance activities. Monitors network operations and resolves routine network monitoring problems. Monitors network performance; conducts routine monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolves routine trouble tickets. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience. Minimum 5+ related experience in specific area or equivalent. Cisco CUCM experience required. May require technical certification. Experience provisioning Cisco Call Manager Experience managing customer request via email / telephonically while keeping the queue at manageable levels Experience with inspectors and leaders of the construction, MACD, and billing activities for customer Cisco Unified Communications System configuration and management, including Call Manager, Unity, IPCC, HUCS, CISCO, CER Nortel BCM, Nortel Succession, Mitel Cisco Layer 2 & 3 switch and router configuration and management Layer 2 and Layer 3 VLAN configuration and management Routing Protocols FWSMs and ASA Isolation of network outage causes and service restorations 2+ years' experience in the operation and maintenance of Cisco switches and routers Experience with IP/Telecom testing equipment Strong customer service and documentation skills Strong Microsoft Office skills Outlook, Word, Excel Anshu Sharma Sedna Consulting Group www.sednacg.com
