Description We are looking for a meticulous Tax Sr. to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role will play a crucial role in managing our tax compliance and reporting processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns while optimizing tax efficiency. This role is pivotal in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and requires a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations.Responsibilities: Prepare and review various tax returns (income, sales/use, property, etc.), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Provide guidance on tax implications and opportunities related to business transactions and initiatives. Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available. Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations, conduct research, and provide recommendations to minimize tax liabilities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance and reporting. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to provide tax-related guidance and support. Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to streamline accounting functions and budget processes. Utilize ADP - Financial Services for efficient management of financial operations. Manage CapEx processes and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Use your auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial operationsRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary Must have knowledge in Capital Expenditure (CapEx) management Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Hands-on experience with ERP Solutions is preferred Should have a good understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing is a must Familiarity with Budget Processes is required Must have experience in handling Cash Activity Compliance knowledge and experience is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
