Description Seeking Experienced Accounting & Finance professionals to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team!As a Full-Time Engagement Professional, you are a full time employee of Robert Half (a Fortune 500 Company), with an Annual Salary, Comprehensive Benefits, Bonuses and many other Educational Resources; such as tuition reimbursement, certifications and career guidance.You will be placed on a sequence of Mid to Long term engagements or recurring projects tailored to your Experience, Skill Sets and Career Objectives.Some of these include:· System conversions · Reconciliations· Mergers/Acquisitions · Medical/Maternity Leaves· Annual Audits· Staff Reductions· Peak Workload DemandsMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities for the successful Staff Accountant include:· Review general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries· Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts· Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts· Assist with initial internal control evaluations· Post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals· Support finance and upper management· Light tax reviews, preparing depreciation schedulesRequirements Ideal Full-Time Engagement Professionals will possess the following:· 3+ years of experience. · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university, required· Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (pivots/v-lookups)· Excellent communication skills· Strong general ledger/journal entry proficiency· Experience with month end process and procedures· Reconciliations· Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulationsAdditional but Not Required:· Active CPA or pursuing CPA· Experience with cost accounting, fixed assets or sales and use tax.Software/System Expertise (multiple preferred but not required):· Oracle, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Solomon Timberline, QuickBooks, Lawson, Yardi, SAP, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon), Hyperion, MAS 90, ADP, JD Edwards, Crystal ReportsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
