OverviewAIR is currently seeking Interns to join our Learning Supports team part-time during our 2024 Summer Internship Program. AIR’s 2024 Summer Internship Program is designed to identify, attract, and hire the best collegiate talent that will drive creativity and innovation while enabling the organization to create a diverse and skilled talent pool. AIR’s paid summer program provides Interns with various learning and networking opportunities that enhance their skillset and build lasting professional connections.TheLearning Supports (https://www.air.org/our-work/education) program area providesresearch (https://www.air.org/our-capabilities/research-evaluation) andtechnical assistance (https://www.air.org/our-capabilities/technical-assistance) to federal, state, and local clients, primarily focusing on the supports children need to be ready to learn in the K-12 education system. Our Learning Supports program area uses a proactive and preventative framework to support these content areas:

Early childhood

English learners

Multi-tiered system of support

Special education

Supporting the scheduling, hosting, and archiving of webinars

Developing and editing text and resources for websites

Documenting meetings and/or editing transcripts of recordings

Supporting accessibility of resources

Developing and editing infographics

Coordinating and conducting data entry

Assembling and coordinating mailings and other communications

Communicating with internal and external colleagues and clients

QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, and Experience:

Must be a current student (for the duration of the internship) enrolled a bachelor’s degree program withinSocial Sciences (e.g., Psychology, Sociology), Education, Communications/Marketing/Journalism, or a related field

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Effective communicator that can work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds

Comfortable working in a virtual/dispersed work environment

Strong organizational skills

Self-motivator eager to learn on the job
