Our client, the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a QA specialist to join their team.Job Title: QA SpecialistLocation: Austin , TXPay Range: $33 - $35/hr on W2What’s the Job?We are seeking a dedicated documentation specialist / QA specialist with a strong background in medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing to join our team. Candidates will start with a Monday-Friday schedule during training for 6-8 weeks , after which they will transition to a Wednesday-Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM schedule. This is an onsite role.Key Responsibilities:

Support third-party medical device manufacturing, focusing on Device History Records (DHRs) and batch records .

Perform batch reviews and quality documentation approvals , ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Review quality documents such as lab notebooks (design, manufacturing, release) and ensure they meet procedural requirements.

Handle non-conformances and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where needed.

Escalate any documentation issues that do not meet procedure standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree , preferably in a STEM field (engineering or science preferred).

Minimum 3 years of experience in a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong documentation experience related to batch release or quality documentation approvals.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are essential.

Experience in non-conformance and CAPA processes is a plus.

Candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense if needed.
