Description Our client is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and lead our organization’s technology infrastructure and IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, team leadership, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for managing the IT team, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems, and driving technology initiatives to support the organization's business goals.Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the IT team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
Plan, implement, and manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards to ensure compliance and data protection.
Monitor and maintain the organization’s network security, including firewalls, access control, and data encryption.
Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and technology investments.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to assess technology needs and provide solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending upgrades or innovations as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5-8 years experience as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, network administration, and infrastructure management.
Familiarity with cloud services, virtualization, and security best practices.
Experience in IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Experience with enterprise software management and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
