Job DescriptionAs a HIL Test Engineer, you will familiarize yourself with the current architecture, address support requests across the company, and eventually work autonomously. You will engage with various benches, handle power and connectivity issues using tools like Multi Meters, and work with radar and networking interfaces. Your role will include documenting problems, providing reports to different teams, and improving bench systems. You will also participate in next-generation system design. Top 3 Skills:
Experience designing and developing HiL (hardware in the loop) and SiL (software in the loop) test systems from hardware-focused perspective
Hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and configuration of electrical hardware
Strong hardware drawing/documentation skills
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Building and troubleshooting HiL benches (complicated wire harnesses, high-performance computers and sensors, fault insertion capabilities)
Documentation of the hardware architecture for HiL benches: architecture drawings, detailed hardware drawings, BoMs, etc.
Interfacing with software engineers both internal and external to the team to ensure proper functionality of the HiL benches
On-call to support bench issues while software testing is underway
