Description We are actively searching for a Finance Manager to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, manage accounting processes, and direct a team of analysts. This position is remote-friendly and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and direct financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and off-quarter basis Oversee the approval process of Journal Entries (JE) and Balance Sheet Reconciliations (BS Rec) Lead the review and approval of bank reconciliations Collaborate closely with the state department on off-quarter reporting Utilize accounting software systems, such as PeopleSoft, for financial management Leverage Excel for financial reporting and statistical reporting Submit annual financial statements to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Monitor and manage insurance premiums, claims, and loss ratios Maintain responsibility for auditing and budget processes Oversee capital management and accounts payable functions Requirements Must have expertise in 3M, a healthcare data analytics and software solution Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, particularly those relevant to healthcare settings Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a necessity for managing financial transactions and records Familiarity with Concur, a travel and expense reporting system, is required Ability to use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions, including maintenance of financial records, management of company ledgers, and financial reporting Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor communication Knowledge of Auditing processes, with an ability to conduct internal audits and comply with external audits Expertise in Budget Processes, including planning, implementation, and review Must be able to manage Capital Management, including capital budgeting, investment appraisal, and risk management.
