OverviewThis client is a leading manufacturer of high-performance RF/Microwave and frequency control products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. The are best known for their expertise in low noise under vibration technology. Recently, the company was awarded a contract worth more than $10 million to support the development of new airborne radar systems for the US Air Force.The Electrical Engineering Technician will work with advanced electronic components, perform testing and troubleshooting, document processes to military standards, and ensure product quality and efficient production. Technicians will collaborate with a team of engineers and designers on an innovative product line featuring cutting-edge crystal oscillators, systems, and synthesizers. This groundbreaking technology is built upon our client's world-renowned ultra-low phase noise expertise.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with state-of-the-art oven-controlled crystal oscillators and RF components.

Supporting production testing by utilizing automated test equipment, along with a variety of testing instruments such as multimeters, frequency counters, and spectrum analyzers.

Conducting comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electronic circuits, following engineering guidelines and customer specifications.

Documenting and certifying testing processes to meet military standards, adhering to approved acceptance test procedures.

Executing testing and modifications following established procedures.

Troubleshooting circuits down to the component level.

Creating detailed test reports.

Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.

Ensuring the efficient progression of products through testing sequences to meet project schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A High School Diploma.

A preferred Technical Degree in a relevant field.

2+ years of valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

A keen attention to detail, with knowledge of manufacturing procedures and best practices.

A working knowledge of fundamental electronic theory.

Proficiency in shop floor and production-related activities.

The capability to sit and/or stand at your workstation for extended periods.

The physical strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
