DevOps Engineer

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a DevOps Engineer in Austin, Texas. This role is in the telecom industry and will involve both DevOps and Software Engineering tasks. You will be working on object-oriented principles, design patterns, and application development, with a focus on scripting and AWS technologies. Responsibilities: Work on a variety of DevOps tasks, with a focus on automation and configuration management Application development, including using languages such as C# and tools like Visual Studio Utilize your software engineering skills to improve system functionality and efficiency Work extensively with AWS, including services like Amazon EC2 Use tools such as Ansible, Apache ANT+, and Atlassian Jira for project management and task automation Create dashboards and other visual representations of system performance and efficiency Work with GitHub for code versioning and AWS Systems Manager for remote deployment Use your knowledge of continuous integration (CI) principles to improve our development process Work on both Windows and Linux environments, adapting tools and processes as necessary.
