Responsibilities Build a scalable and highly performant search architecture Build and maintain domain specific abstraction layer around search infrastructure Build end-to-end data pipelines connecting services to databases and indexes Build reliable database with emphasis on security, performance and scale Qualifications 8 -12 years of experience in software development with focus on databases and search technology Deep expertise in Lucene based search engines such as Elasticsearch, Solr Strong coding skills in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, go etc. Strong proficiency in service-oriented architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases Experience in building and maintaining highly available and performant databases Knowledge of software engineering development, test, operational and maintenance best practices Strong team player Strong communication skills and ability to influence Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision is a must!
