Job description We’re looking for a Data Scientist who is obsessed with delivering world-class service to join our vibrant company that’s growing fast. In this role, you will:
Utilize strong SQL skills to collect and manipulate data from various company data sets.
Perform in-depth data analysis, identifying trends and insights to drive informed decision-making.
Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions to ensure data accuracy and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including third party vendors, to create and manage data warehouse projects.
Utilize PowerBI to create data visualizations and interactive dashboards that communicate key findings, particularly for financial performance and risk management.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality and integrity within the organization.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes through analysis
Create and manage reports used to produce sales team commissions and revenue recognition.
Assist in the automation of data-related processes by developing an in-depth understanding of source data and business requirements.
Share your knowledge and experience by mentoring and collaborating with junior data and FP&A analysts.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques to drive innovation within the company.
Communicate the results of analyses clearly and effectively to product and leadership teams, influencing the overall product strategy.
What you bring:
BA/BS in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Accounting or closely related.
Two years experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Business Analyst, or closely related, including experience in the following:
SQL data extraction and manipulation
PowerBI for data visualization and reporting dashboards;
Programming in Python, tailored to payment analysis;
Data warehousing and ETL processes.
Presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
All experience may be gained concurrently.
