Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing and coordinating financial reporting and accounting functions in a multifaceted organization. You will be expected to keep up with daily activities of the accounting department, adhere to closing schedules, and ensure timely reporting. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage accounting functions and financial reporting for multiple entities within the organization. Participate in daily activities of the accounting department, ensuring smooth operations. Adhere to month-end closing schedules, and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Prepare internal and external ad hoc reports as required to support organizational decision making. Conduct general ledger and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. Participate in the upgrade of accounting system and contribute to the design of new procedures and methodologies. Maintain and update all policies and processes, promoting continuous streamlining of processes. Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Assist in coordinating and preparing for financial audits, examinations, reviews in collaboration with external CPA firms. Coordinate and communicate effectively with the executive team, ensuring transparency and efficiency in financial operations.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Ability to use Crystal Reports Familiarity with Epicor Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Understanding of various Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to perform Auditing tasks Experience in Budget Processes Ability to manage Cash Activity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
