Description : Perform advancedautomated systems development work in support of the UI Benefits system.Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development lifecycle including external customer service, analyzing and documentingrequirements, coding, testing as well as resolving software, data, hardware andreporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and externalclients. Develops and tests COBOL, Natural and JCL Applications that meetdesign specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements.Documents current processes, creates and reviews written specificationadditions/modifications and creates test cases for defects involving new andmodified program policies. Analyze, document, design, and develop logical, structuredprograms and systems appropriate to customer needs which are well-documentedprograms and that may be maintained by others. Test applications in accordancewith agency standards. Ensure adherenceto program documentation and procedural standards, and management goals andobjectives.
