Key Responsibilities:

Bankruptcy Case Management: Assist with the preparation and filing of Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases while maintaining a detailed understanding of case progress and deadlines.

Litigation Support: Draft pleadings, document requests, discovery responses, and correspondence. Ensure the accurate filing of court documents and manage trial preparation materials.

Document Review and Analysis: Conduct detailed reviews of legal documents, contracts, and case-related paperwork to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Client Coordination: Maintain professional engagement with clients, keeping them updated on case status and responses.

Technology Utilization: Utilize legal practice software to organize files, track deadlines, and manage workflow.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience Required: 5+ years of paralegal experience with a clear specialization in bankruptcy and litigation.

Education: Paralegal certification or equivalent education highly preferred, along with substantive knowledge of federal and state litigation procedures.

Attention to Detail: A natural ability to manage complexity while staying organized and detail-oriented in document preparation and analysis.

Technological Savvy: Proficiency with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, Nexis) and case management tools is a plus.

Experience with AI-based tools or openness to AI adoption a bonus.
