Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking an Area Vice President (AVP) for our Behavioral division in Texas. The Area Vice President leads operation teams, drives performance management and market development within an assigned geographic area, specifically focused on Behavioral health services in the clinic and community settings. The AVP role requires facilitative management characteristics, including significant leadership, conflict resolution, customer relations, analytical and negotiation skills. Responsibilities include supporting and collaborating with organizational infrastructure including; quality improvement, compliance, clinical, human resources, legal, finance, utilization, systems, program and service development, marketing, and public relations.Why Join Maxim:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drives measurable goals, KPI’s, and objectives within respective Area

Mentors, advises, and coaches talent for succession planning

Develops and implements effective strategies for employee retention

Actively participates in talent identification and acquisition

Liaison between Regional Leadership, Office Administration, and key stakeholders

Partners with Area Vice President of Clinical Operation (AVPCO) to drive the Area’s Quality Improvement program, identify compliance and patient satisfaction trends and develops appropriate improvement strategies

Partners with Strategic Sales, the Business Development Center of Excellence (BDCOE) and the Recruiter Center of Excellence (RCOE) to achieve an effective business development and recruitment delivery

Represents the company and its services in the marketplace, legislative arenas, and related healthcare associations

Develops and implements innovative business strategies, which enhance market share, expand growth, and improve overall performance

Participates in the development of the financial budget and drive budgetary goals

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Education, Management, or health-related field

Minimum of five (5) years of proven leadership experience in healthcare or related health programs preferred

Knowledge of healthcare requirements and third-party reimbursement

Experience with multi-site management preferred

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite required

Must be willing to travel to company locations throughout the assigned region

Must meet federal, state, and local requirements

Proficiency in the English language required
