Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop professional Revit models and drawings from engineering sketches and concepts.
Organize and put together design drawing submittals and construction drawing packages.
Will use CAD & Revit software to update drawings for electrical systems including high/low voltage and commercial/industrial power distribution systems.
Update as-built Revit drawings/3D models per electricians & project manager's red-lines.
Ability to develop and maintain Revit libraries and possibly automate drafting processes a plus but not required.
Assist with maintaining/developing Company engineering & Revit standards.
Keep up to date with the latest Revit technology developments and utilize to increase productivity and efficiency.
Work closely as an active Team Member with owner, field electricians, project managers and other Departments on project assignments.
Understand how worksets, filters and parameters work.
Ability to create schedules and BOMs for conduit, cable tray, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2+) years' electrical drafting experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical low voltage 600 voltage and below and distribution system configurations and functions.
- Experience with Revit MEP 2019 to 2023, and Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Experience using Navisworks is a plus.
- Semiconductor electrical drafting and design experience is a plus but not required.
- Must have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Must be a team player who can work with various team members from start to finish.
We will consider entry level candidates provided they have proven skills in Revit.
We will consider Revit pipe drafters also.
This is a 24 month project that can possibly extend to 5 to 12 years. We will provide necessary training.
There is also a Revit test to gauge your skillset.
Daily work hours are 7a to 4p with 1 hour lunch. Sorry there is no telecommute option currently in place as my customer wants access to my guys on site at all times.
