Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a part-time assistant teacher. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth of young children in a Christian environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise children directly, ensuring their safety and responding promptly to their needs
Foster a Christian atmosphere and support the development of a Christian environment
Document incidents and accidents, ensuring accurate reporting to the office
Rotate toys bi-weekly to promote learning and engagement
Share cleaning responsibilities to maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom
Fulfill monthly school checklist duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience working with young children, particularly infants and toddlers, is required
Familiarity with early childhood milestones and developmental stages
Basic understanding of childhood development principles
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Must pass a thorough background investigation to include employment reference check and verification of all applicable certifications and educational degrees
Reliable attendance during scheduled work hours

Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 1:30pm (staff hours: 9:15am to 1:45pm)
Option to work Early Care (8:15am to 9:30am) or After Care (1:30pm to 2:45pm)
