Austin family with a sweet 6 year old looking for a nanny/household assistant who can work on a varying schedule (set out a month in advance) consisting of approx 3-4 afternoon/evenings per week (approximately 3pm-9pm) and Saturday full days. Nanny must be flexible as the family's needs are ever-changing. Occasional travel (short trips both domestic and international from 3-10 days at a time) with the family may be requested as well (optional).
Ideal candidate is a self-starter with an eye for detail and an ability to take on a variety of tasks and follow written and verbal instructions. Child care experience (daycare, teaching, nannying, etc) an absolute must. Household management or personal assistant experience is a strong plus!
Responsibilities for the position include:
CHILD CARE
Driving child to/from school, appointments and activities
Providing child with structure, love, care and appropriate discipline as needed
Planning activities and outings
HOUSEHOLD
Simple dinner prep
Basic clean up of main living areas (maids come 3x per week, so no deep cleaning required)
Personal receipt management
Completion of various household responsibilities lists
General household management tasks potentially including some limited grocery shopping, occasional laundry, checking the mail, accepting/handling packages, arranging and supervising contractors, etc.
ANIMAL CARE
Feed 1 cat
Scooping cat litter daily
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with children of similar age, good driving record/be able to pass a background check, excellent communication/listening skills, able to work independently, able to be proactive and problem solve. MUST HAVE RESUME AND REFERENCES!

Pay: $28-32/hr (based on experience)
